Tips to Think About for your Photo Session:

Clothing:

Bring a variety of outfits including classic and fun styles. Avoid clothing with words, logos, excessive stripes, & loud patterns as they distract from your expression. Bring accessories such as: jewelry, hats, belts, and scarves. Make sure your undergarments (unwanted straps) are not showing.

Note: Tan lines and sun burns cannot be fixed without expensive photoshopping.

Hair:

Wear your hair the way you like it best. If you plan to have a haircut, try to schedule it at least a week before your session in case you don't care for the results.

Guys, come in with a fresh shave. Five o'clock shadows are next to impossible to retouch, and rarely look appealing in photographs.

Make-up:

Make-up is recommended, but no heavier than you would for an evening out. Even if you don't normally wear make-up, a light foundation and powder will reduce shine and even out your skin tone.

Hands & Nails:

Trim, file and remove old polish from your nails. French manicure is the only color that looks timeless in photographs.

Glasses:

If you wear glasses, be sure they are non-glare lenses or ask your optometrist for the frame without glass.
